Overview

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit nextlegacy.de. I do not run analytics, I do not embed third-party trackers, and I do not sell or share anything with advertisers.

What is collected

I collect nothing directly, and the web server keeps no access logs. Three services are involved:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany) hosts the site on a server in Germany. Serving a page needs your IP address, but requests are not logged. See Hetzner's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare provides DNS for the domain only. Your requests to this site do not pass through Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Web3Forms delivers the contact form. Your name, email address and message are sent to it and forwarded to my inbox. It is only contacted when you actually submit the form. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.

Cookies and browser storage

No tracking or advertising cookies. While a tab is open, the site keeps two small values in your browser's session storage: which of the two looks you switched to (Aero or Wired), and whether the opening animation has already played. Both stay on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are gone when you close the tab.

One cookie is used for language preference, so a page you opened in German opens in German again.

What I do with a message

If you write to me, I use what you send to answer you. That is the whole purpose, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data concerning you is held, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. For anything held by the providers above, their own policies apply; for anything you have sent me, write to me and I will delete it.
